Midnight League - Futsal Participation Centres

An exciting new game played indoors. Futsal originates from Brazil and has finally arrived in this country. The game is played with a specialised low bounce football that encourages development of young players. Futsal is UEFA and FIFA’s recognised official indoor five aside game.

As well as participating in the futsal tournament youngsters who are not on the field of play can participate in the “FIFA 2008” computer game championship – a great night of football fun.

Breakfast Clubs

This is an initiative to give youth players an opportunity to participate in an extra weekly training session over a six week period.

Players come in early morning and take part in an early morning session before school commences. The session is followed by participants being given a breakfast with emphasis on diet and nutrition and importance of eating correct food when competing in sport.

The sessions take place at a number of Secondary Schools with opportunities for S1 & S2 pupils to participate.
