There are two different strands of organised adult football in the
Scottish Borders. We have the East of Scotland Football League and the
Borders Amateur League.
East of Scotland League
There are twenty four teams from the East of Scotland who compete in
this League that covers the South East Region. The League is divided in
to two Leagues of twelve. There are eight Borders Clubs who compete in

Border Amateur League
There are thirty five clubs who compete in this League. This is made up
of clubs who are predominantly located in the Scottish Borders. The
League is divided in to three divisions. There are twenty nine teams
from the Scottish Borders who compete in this League. Further details
