This
year we continue the range of football coaching courses
to cater for all levels of boys and girls of primary
school age. The courses have been designed with the aim
of delivering appropriate content for all levels of
player regardless of age, gender or ability with a view
to all players having fun and developing their football
ability.
We also
introduce a set of new courses for the pre-school
footballers in the Scottish Borders. The five courses in
Duns, Eyemouth, Galashiels, Kelso and Peebles will
provide an opportunity for boys and girls to participate
in fun SFA Mini Kickers sessions.

SFA Mini Kickers Courses
- This is an
early experience course for boys and girls aged 3-5 who
are looking to have fun playing games which are designed
to improve their basic motor skills, hand to eye
co-ordination and balance as well as introducing
activities associated to football.

Football First Courses
- This is an
introductory Course for boys and girls aged 5-7 who are
looking to have fun and improve their skills. We are
looking to attract the first time player or the
youngster who just wants to come along to play football.

Champions League / Premier Performers Courses - This
course is for 8 – 11 year olds who are looking to have
fun and further develop their skills. Each day a
different theme of coaching will be delivered based
around the teams who are competing in the Champions
League or Premier League.

SFA Football
Fours / Creative Player Courses -
This October, there will
be a new structure to the holiday courses. The course
will be over a single day where boys and Girls from P1
to P7 will have the opportunity to train like the
professionals. They will have the chance to develop
their individual skills, test their speed and agility
and play football fours in an environment designed to
give a taste of playing at the top level.

Discount
rates apply for families who intend to send more than
one of their family to attend any of the courses. Where
one child is registered on any course, all siblings will
be given 50% discount off the course.
