Football Festivals

Background

The football development team deliver a series of annual community festivals where youngsters get the opportunity to participate in football activities.

The Cameron Gunn Memorial festival is one such event that is popular in the Borders, being hosted from Netherdale, Galashiels, with around 700 youngsters taking part in the Borders largest football event.

All money raised at the event goes to the worthwhile Scottish HART charity. Plans are already underway to host the event at Netherdale next June 8^th 2008, anyone who requires any further information on support with organising a football festival should contact: danderson2@scotborders.gov.uk

There will also be opportunities for clubs/organisations to hire the newly purchased Inflatable Football Pitch, anyone who would like a quote to hire the pitch should contact Dougie Anderson danderson2@scotborders.gov.uk.
